Aren Grimshaw
Aren has a background covering media, sales and marketing and is considered by many to be the south west’s leading authority on social media.
Aren jointly organises the Cornwall Social Media Café and was the lead organiser behind Cornwall’s Twestival, an international event held in 202 countries on the 12th February 2009 to raise money for charity.
He is a regular speaker on all things social media, delivering presentations to business networks, conferences and internally across businesses and organisations within the region.
In 2008 he was recognised by the Cornwall Hub, the region’s network for young business people, as Innovator of the Year for his work in establishing the Business Cornwall website and delivering a series of virtual conferences.
Within Tonick, Aren works with clients to establish their strategic direction and helps them develop detailed action plans and strategies to ensure business success through traditional and social media.
Aren lives with his partner and two children on the outskirts of Camborne in the west of Cornwall. Aren is very rarely caught out of a suit as he fears that many people would think he was still at school without it.
